The Archival Standard

Every print that leaves the Cabinet is prepared to museum-grade standards. This is not a marketing claim—it is an engineering discipline applied to the care of paper.

Inspection

Each print is examined under raking light and magnification to confirm condition before listing and again before dispatch.

Materials

pH-neutral, acid-free mounting boards and museum-grade hinge tapes. No adhesive ever touches the print surface.

Packaging

Engineering-grade protection with rigid board backing, acid-free tissue interleaving, and moisture-resistant outer packaging.

Certificate of Authenticity

Every purchase includes a certificate of authenticity bearing the Cabinet des Estampes dry-stamp embossed seal. Each certificate identifies the print, its date, provenance, and condition, signed by the founder.


Shipping

We ship worldwide from London, United Kingdom. Orders are dispatched within 3 business days of payment. You will receive a tracking number by email once your order has shipped.

United Kingdom — Free standard shipping (Royal Mail Signed For).
Europe — Flat rate via Royal Mail International Tracked.
Rest of World — Flat rate via Royal Mail International Tracked.

Exact shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination. Customs duties and import taxes, if applicable, are the responsibility of the buyer.

We strongly recommend shipping insurance. While we take every precaution to ensure safe delivery, Cabinet des Estampes cannot be held responsible for loss or damage once the item has been handed to the postal carrier. Insurance provides full coverage for the purchase price in the event of loss or damage during transit.


Returns

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not, we accept returns within 14 days of delivery, subject to the following conditions:

The item must be returned in the same archival packaging in which it was sent. This packaging is specifically designed to protect the print during transit, and returning the item in any other packaging voids the return guarantee.

The print must be in the same condition as when it was received. Any damage caused after delivery is the responsibility of the buyer.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged in return transit.

Refunds are processed within 5 business days of receiving the returned item in satisfactory condition, via the original payment method.


Damaged or Lost Items

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the damage and packaging. We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.

For items lost in transit, please contact us and we will initiate a trace with the carrier. Insured shipments will be refunded in full. For uninsured shipments, liability is limited to the shipping cost.
